Documate.org, Launching at ABA TECHSHOW 2019 to Become the Most Secure Document Automation Platform for Lawyers
CHICAGO, IL, February 25, 2019 — Documate (formerly HelpSelf Legal) relaunches at ABA TECHSHOW 2019 with security features that will make it the most secure document automation platform available on the web. The new product will provide each user with a personalized domain, a dedicated server, and the option of a dedicated database to ensure data encryption and isolation beyond standard SaaS platforms.
“Our users are law firms and medical offices who are passing highly sensitive information through our platform,” said CEO Dorna Moini. “For institutional clients, we meet lengthy checklists of security requirements before firms sign up for our platform. We decided to roll these features out to all of our users.”
CTO Michael Joseph emphasized the weight of having a dedicated database. “It’s the ultimate internet black box, because it completely isolates and encrypts your and your clients’ data.” But it’s more than just the highest levels of security. Joseph noted that “because you’re the only entity making requests on the instance, you get peak responsiveness and performance. The instance is backed by Amazon’s AWS and has almost no chance going down, regardless of how many clients are on at the same time.”
Documate, which started in December 2017 with a mission to automate legal services for low- and moderate-income Americans, quickly realized the best way to accomplish this goal was to build software empowering all lawyers to automate their expertise. Documate quickly shifted from a consumer-based model to a software platform. They are now serving lawyers, legal aid organizations and the federal court system, among other non-legal verticals. Documate is officially launching under its new name at 2019 ABA TECHSHOW.
