Your Firm App Launches In-App Document Signature Feature for TECHSHOW

Your Firm App is the first client-facing mobile app platform that provides attorneys a cost-effective option for providing a mobile app for clients to access relevant case information.  A Startup Alley contestant at ABA TECHSHOW 2019, Your Firm App is coming to the show with new features available to improve the client experience and make life easier for lawyers of all practice areas.

Our #1 requested feature since Your Firm App’s launch has been an in-app signature feature to allow clients to sign documents within the app. We’ve been working hard on a signature feature that would allow clients to easily sign documents and make them immediately available to the lawyer. We started by looking at other integrations that may allow us to do so, and then we decided we wanted a native signature feature that did not require another integration.

When we set out to build this feature there were elements that we wanted to make sure the feature possessed, including:

• No need for an additional platform– the signature feature had to stand on its own without need for you having another platform.
• Easy access to signed documents– signed documents had to be easily accessible in Clio so you knew where they would be when they were signed.
• Easy client use– the feature had to also be as easy as possible for clients to use, knowing that not all clients are tech savvy.

We’re proud to say we’ve built what we believe is the simplest document signature feature available today, all within our already robust client communication platform. Documents can easily be uploaded, signed and saved direct to the client’s Matter folder in mere minutes.
